We flashback again to 3016.. the World has become uninhabitable.. Toxins and poisonous gases and fumes reign the surface that was once glittering with clear oceans and plush green landscapes... now a withered and browned scar that only homed the stories of a million histories.. all now vanished and erased almost from time itself...
The Moonfolk, an Earth-like moon was where they had been relocated, others sought new worlds for new beginnings, and to repopulate with a fresh new start. Floid arrives from the East Forest, a bran new Forest only 900 years old, with the help of the new Scientists crafty inventions that took the speed of growth to a level that made it possible to re-grow new planets on such unlikely surfaces.. It wasn't perfect, and they had accidents, the air supplies were finicky in the balancing act to distribute air equally to the inhabitants of the artificial world, but it was working..and Scientists now had time to find a way to fix the real Earth before it completed its self-destruction. (Interlude)
The maintenance Man watches as Floid pans, rises, identifies, slowly and carefully close his clamp, and gently pluck a cherry off a branch. Floid then lowers, turns and tilts down dropping the cherry into his half filled bucket...
"He's a Cherry picker.."
Said Dwayne boasting to his co-worker who had just clocked in and had stopped in notice of the new work machine...
"What's it run on?" asked Jombo.
"Solar power... and the best part is... he works for oil."
